Dark mode styling, page preferences, and page content stay on your device. We collect limited anonymous product and license events so we can operate Pro access, understand feature usage, and process support requests.
All of your actual usage data: theme selection, brightness, per-site enable/disable state, and any other preferences. These live in Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your computer and are never uploaded to our servers. The dark-mode content script reads no page text and transmits no page content.
When the extension is installed, used, upgraded, or uninstalled, it may send a small product or license event to our server. Each event includes:
The events do not include the URL of the page you are on, website content, page text, screenshots, passwords, your name, or your email.
If you upgrade to a paid plan, your device identifier is also used to verify your license. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. If a purchase email is associated with a license through Stripe or support, it is used only for license delivery, activation, support, refunds, and fraud prevention.
This extension declares only the permissions it actually uses. Each is listed in the Chrome Web Store entry, and the reason is documented there. The host permission (<all_urls>) exists solely so a small content script can inject the dark-mode stylesheet at document_start before the page paints, preventing a flash of white. No page text is read or transmitted.
To request deletion of your device identifier and any associated analytics or license records, email support@peakproductivity.online. We will delete on request.
If we change this policy, the "Last updated" date above will change and significant changes will be communicated through the extension's release notes.
