Overview

MeetMint ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This extension transcribes your Google Meet calls locally in your browser. No audio is ever uploaded to our servers.

Data Collection

What stays on your device:

• Full meeting transcripts (stored in Chrome's local storage)
• Speaker labels and timestamps
• Meeting history and settings

What touches our server (Pro only):

• Text transcript only — for AI summary generation
• No audio files are ever uploaded

Data Retention

• Local transcripts: Stored until you delete them or clear browser data
• AI summaries: Automatically deleted after 30 days
• You can delete summaries at any time

No AI Training

We do not use your transcript content or AI summaries for training any AI models.

No Third-Party Sharing

We never sell, share, or transfer your meeting data to third parties.

Permissions

• storage: Save transcripts, settings, and license info locally
• activeTab + scripting: Inject the transcription sidebar into Google Meet
• meet.google.com: Required to detect meeting state and read participant labels
• peakproductivity.online: Required to verify Pro licenses and generate AI summaries
