By installing or using JWT Vault (the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Peak Productivity ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer and operator of JWT Vault.
JWT Vault is a Chrome browser extension that decodes, verifies, and debugs JSON Web Tokens locally in your browser. A free tier is available with no account required. A Pro subscription unlocks additional features including local signature verification, an unlimited encrypted token vault, expiry dashboard, token diff, test token generation, and team vault sync.
The free plan includes unlimited JWT decoding, claims exploration, live expiry countdown, and a 3-slot encrypted local vault. The free plan is provided at no cost and with no stated time limit. We reserve the right to adjust the features included in the free plan with reasonable notice.
Billing. Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly ($4 USD/month) or annual ($29 USD/year) basis through Stripe, our payment processor. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will receive a receipt from Stripe before each renewal. To prevent renewal, cancel before the billing period ends.
Cancellation. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Stripe customer portal or by contacting support@peakproductivity.online. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain Pro access until that date.
Refunds. We offer a 7-day refund for first-time purchases if the Extension does not function as described on this page. Refund requests must be sent to support@peakproductivity.online within 7 days of the initial charge. Renewals and annual subscriptions that have been in use for more than 7 days are not eligible for refunds unless required by applicable law.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date after the notice period. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
You agree to use JWT Vault only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
JWT Vault, including its source code, design, and branding, is the property of Peak Productivity. Installation of the Extension grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for personal or internal business purposes. No other rights are granted.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects. Cryptographic output produced by the local signature verification feature is provided for informational purposes. Do not rely solely on this output for security-critical decisions without independent verification.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Peak Productivity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of JWT Vault, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update JWT Vault or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted at https://peakproductivity.online/jwt-inspector/terms/ with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in the Extension's release notes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Pro features if you breach these Terms. If we terminate for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period. You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling the Extension.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed by contacting support@peakproductivity.online. If a resolution is not reached within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of the canton where Peak Productivity is registered, except where applicable local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
