Terms of Service

Last updated: May 23, 2026

Plain-English. No legal traps.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using CWS Submission Copilot ("the extension"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension. These terms apply to both the free version and the Pro subscription.

2. License to use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CWS Submission Copilot for your own extension development and review purposes, subject to these terms. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the extension or its source code.

3. Free plan and Pro subscription

The core scan, permission audit, remote-code detection, listing-text check, per-finding fix guidance, and copy report features are free and remain free. Pro features (step-by-step fix guidance with code snippets, listing optimizer, scan history, batch scan, and export) require a paid subscription.

Pricing$5 per month or $29 per year, billed via Stripe.
BillingYour subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
CancellationYou may cancel at any time from your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges immediately. Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period.
RefundsWe do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month or mid-year, you keep access until the period ends but no partial refund is issued. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it promptly.

4. Readiness signal, not a guarantee

CWS Submission Copilot checks your extension against known Chrome Web Store policy patterns and automated rejection triggers. A clean scan result is a readiness signal only, not a guarantee of approval. The Chrome Web Store's human reviewers may still reject an extension for reasons outside the tool's scope, including judgment calls on policy interpretation, new policies not yet reflected in the tool, or issues specific to your extension's use case.

You remain solely responsible for ensuring your extension complies with all applicable CWS policies before submission.

5. Acceptable use

You may use CWS Submission Copilot for any lawful purpose related to Chrome extension development. You agree not to:

6. No warranty ("as is")

CWS Submission Copilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Chrome Web Store policies change without notice, and scan results may not reflect the most recent policy revisions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peak Productivity and its authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of CWS Submission Copilot, including but not limited to extension rejections, lost developer revenue, delays to your publication schedule, or account suspensions. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Third-party services

The Pro subscription is processed by Stripe, Inc. and is subject to Stripe's terms. We are not responsible for the availability or terms of Stripe's services.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If a change materially affects your rights as a Pro subscriber, we will note it in the extension's update changelog.
