You're all set

Here's how to run your first scan and get a green light before you submit.

1

Pin the extension for quick access

Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, then click the pin next to CWS Submission Copilot. It'll be one click away every time you build a new version.

Run your first scan in 4 steps

2

Build your extension to a .zip

Run your normal build script and produce the same .zip you would upload to the CWS Developer Dashboard. No special export needed.

3

Drop it into the Copilot popup

Click the Copilot icon in your toolbar and drag your .zip onto the drop zone (or click to browse). The entire analysis runs locally in your browser tab.

4

Read the blockers-first report

Critical findings appear at the top with their CWS policy code name (Blue Argon, Purple Potassium, etc.), the exact file and line, and the fix. Address each one and rescan until every blocker is cleared.

5

Fix, rescan, and submit

Rebuild, drop the new .zip in, and scan again. When the readiness score hits green, you're ready to submit with confidence. Use the Copy Report button to share your scan results with your team.
