Privacy Notice

Effective date: August 25, 2026. This notice applies to peakproductivity.online, related Peak Productivity product pages, and Chrome extensions published under the Peak Productivity name.

Many core extension tasks run locally, but not every feature is local-only. License checks, checkout, diagnostics, email delivery, integrations, AI features, translation, transcription, uploads, and other requested online features can send data to our servers or a named service provider. This notice explains those differences.

1. Controller and contact

Peak Productivity is operated by Regios GmbH, Ostenbergstrasse 11, 4410 Liestal, Switzerland. Regios GmbH is the controller for the processing described here. Contact us at support@peakproductivity.online or support@regios.org.

2. Data that can remain on your device

Depending on the extension, settings, saved templates, locally generated files, browser rules, history, bookmarks, passwords, clipboard items, recordings, images, PDFs, citations, transcripts, and other working data can be stored in Chrome storage, IndexedDB, memory, or your downloads folder. Local data may be removed when you uninstall the extension or clear browser data. Chrome Sync can copy data between browsers signed into the same Google account when an extension uses chrome.storage.sync.

A local-processing statement applies only to the content and feature it names. It does not mean the extension makes no network requests or processes no diagnostics, license, checkout, or integration data.

3. Diagnostics, attribution, and server logs

Some current extension builds send limited product and reliability events to Peak Productivity servers. Depending on the build and event, these records can include:

These records are pseudonymous, not necessarily anonymous. They can sometimes be linked to a purchase, support request, or license record. We use them to operate features, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, measure activation, and understand which product or campaign led to a checkout. We do not sell this information or use extension data for personalized advertising.

4. Purchases, subscriptions, and licenses

When you start checkout or buy Pro, we can process your email address, selected product and plan, country, random client or device identifier, license key, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, and attribution fields. Stripe processes card and payment details under its own privacy notice. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Extensions may contact our license service to activate, restore, or verify paid access. A license record can connect your email, product, plan, device identifier, Stripe identifiers, and entitlement status. Billing-portal requests use this information to open the correct Stripe customer account.

5. Content sent for an online feature

Some features require a network request. When you deliberately use such a feature, the data needed to perform it can be sent to our server or the selected provider. Examples include:

The exact data depends on the extension and the action you choose. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or third-party content unless you have authority to process it and the feature is suitable for that data.

6. Email, support, and tracking features

If you submit an email address for a download, newsletter, purchase, or support request, we use it to provide the requested service and related operational messages. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted, and each marketing email includes an unsubscribe route.

MailPing and similar email-tracking features can insert a small remote image into a message at the sender's request. When a recipient loads it, the tracking service can receive the time, IP address, user agent, and related request data. Email clients and privacy proxies can make these results incomplete or misleading. The sender is responsible for informing recipients and obtaining any consent required by law.

7. Service providers and recipients

We disclose data only as needed to operate a requested feature, run our business, protect the service, comply with law, or complete a transaction. Depending on the product and feature, providers can include:

A provider receives only the data needed for the selected feature or operational purpose. Its own privacy terms can also apply. We do not allow providers to use extension user data for personalized advertising.

8. Purposes and legal grounds

We process data to provide requested features and paid access, administer subscriptions, respond to support, secure and maintain the service, prevent abuse, comply with legal and accounting duties, and improve product reliability. Depending on the context and applicable law, we rely on performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, consent, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it for future processing.

9. Retention

Retention varies by data type and product. We keep records only while reasonably needed for the purposes above, security, disputes, accounting, or legal compliance. Purchase, tax, and transaction records can be kept for legally required periods. License records are kept while an entitlement or related support need exists. Support messages are kept while needed to resolve and document the request. You may ask us to delete data that we no longer need or are not legally required to keep.

10. International transfers and security

Our services and providers can process data in Switzerland, the European Economic Area, the United States, and other countries where a selected provider operates. Where required, we use an applicable transfer mechanism or other safeguard. We use HTTPS for network transmission and restrict operational access, but no system can promise absolute security.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You can also:

Send requests to support@peakproductivity.online. Include the product and, if relevant, the email or device identifier needed to find the record. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or another competent authority.

12. Children

Our services are general productivity tools and are not directed to children. Do not use the services if local law does not permit you to consent to the relevant data processing or enter a contract.

13. Changes

We will update the effective date when this notice changes. If a change materially affects an active paid service or a consent-based use, we will provide additional notice where required.
