Privacy Policy

Short version: Your gmail templates and email drafts stay in your browser. Nothing from your saved templates or Gmail drafts is transmitted to our servers during normal use. We do not scan your inbox, your sent mail, or your contacts.

1. What we do not collect

• The contents of your inbox, sent mail, drafts, threads, or labels. The extension never reads or transmits Gmail message contents.
• Your contacts, recipients, or subject lines.
• Your gmail templates themselves. Templates are stored locally in chrome.storage.local and are not uploaded to our servers.
• Browsing history, cookies, third-party tracking data, advertising identifiers, or any data outside the extension's own UI.
• Personal information beyond what you voluntarily submit, for example your email address if you contact support or opt into our welcome email series.

2. What we do collect (and why)

• An anonymous device ID. Generated locally and stored in chrome.storage.local. Sent only to peakproductivity.online for two purposes: anonymous funnel events (install, first action, paywall hit, with no email content attached) and Pro Pass license verification.
• Pro Pass email or license key, if you activate one. It is checked against our license server and cached locally for 24 hours so the extension keeps working offline.
• Template library data. Saved templates, subjects, shortcuts, and merge fields stay in your local Chrome storage. They are not transmitted to our servers during normal use.

3. Host permissions

The extension requests one host permission: https://mail.google.com/*. This is used solely to inject the Templates button and template panel into the Gmail compose UI. The extension does not scan, parse, or transmit any other Gmail data.

An optional host permission for https://peakproductivity.online/* is used for license checks, anonymous funnel events, and upgrade links.

4. No advertising, no third-party analytics

The extension does not load Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other third-party analytics or advertising SDK. The only outbound network call is to peakproductivity.online, our own server, for the purposes listed above.

5. Data retention

Your gmail templates live in your browser's local storage and are removed if you uninstall the extension or clear browser data. Anonymized funnel events stored on our server (device ID, event name, timestamp, no email content) are retained for 90 days and then deleted. Your Pro Pass license record is retained for the lifetime of the subscription plus the duration required by Swiss accounting law.

6. Children's privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Your rights

You can export your full template library at any time from the Options page (Export JSON). You can delete it by uninstalling the extension or by removing templates one by one. To request deletion of your anonymous funnel record from our server, email support@peakproductivity.online with the device ID shown on the Options page.
