Does this read my Gmail inbox?

No. The extension does not scan, index, or read any email in your inbox. It only injects a Templates button into the Gmail compose UI and writes the chosen template into the active draft. There is no inbox API call, no message list access, no thread parsing. The only host permission is https://mail.google.com/* so we can inject the button.

Where are my gmail templates stored?

In chrome.storage.local on your own computer. Templates are stored in chrome.storage.local on your own computer. Use export and import JSON when you want to move or back up your library.

What permissions does it need?

One permission: storage to save your templates. One host permission: https://mail.google.com/* so the static content script can add the Templates button inside Gmail compose. No tabs, no webRequest, no broad page access. Optional host permission for peakproductivity.online is used for Pro Pass license checks, anonymous funnel events, and upgrade links.

Can I move templates between computers?

Yes. Export your templates to a JSON file from the options page, then import that file in another Chrome profile. Free users can export and import too.

What's the difference between Free and Pro Pass?

Free covers 5 templates and 3 shortcuts. Pro Pass at $9/month removes those Smart Templates limits and also unlocks the supported Peak Productivity bundle on the same subscription.

Does it conflict with Boomerang, Streak, or Mixmax?

No conflict in normal use. Smart Templates injects one button into the compose toolbar and one panel. It does not patch Gmail's send flow, so other Gmail extensions keep working alongside. If you do hit a conflict, email support and we'll investigate.

Can I get a refund on Pro Pass?

Yes. Within 30 days of purchase, email support@peakproductivity.online and we'll refund the full amount, no questions asked.

Is the extension open source?

The extension is closed source today, but the bundle is unobfuscated, Manifest V3 compliant, and contains zero remote code. Every script that runs ships inside the package and is reviewable from chrome://extensions.
