1. How scoring works
When you open a TikTok Shop product page, the extension reads the product title, price, and category directly from the page you are already viewing. It combines that with your locally stored cost and commission settings to calculate margin and score. This calculation runs entirely on your device. No product data, no cost numbers, and no scores are transmitted to any server.
Scoring works offline once the extension is installed. It does not require a network connection to display the scorecard.
2. What the extension can and cannot see
The extension has access to TikTok Shop product pages in order to read the product information visible on those pages (title, price, category, and commission rate). It does not have access to your other browser tabs, your browsing history, your TikTok account credentials, or any website other than TikTok Shop product pages.
The extension does not use <all_urls> or any broad host permission. Its page access is scoped to TikTok Shop only.
3. Permissions and why each one is needed

There are no permissions to access any website other than TikTok Shop pages and the license endpoint above.
4. Network requests the extension makes
TikTok Shop Product Scout makes only the following outbound requests, all to our own server at peakproductivity.online. It makes no others.
- Anonymous license check. Sends a randomly generated device ID to verify whether a Pro license is active. Contains no name, email, browsing data, or personal information of any kind.
- Anonymous usage events. Sends aggregate funnel events (for example 'installed' or 'used a feature') labeled only with a random device ID and the extension version number. No product details, no browsing history, and no personal information are included. These events are used only to understand how the extension is being used in aggregate.
- Pro AI analysis (opt-in, per product). Sent only when you click the "AI analysis" button on a specific product. The payload contains the product title, price, category, and your entered cost. No browsing history, no other products, and no identifying information are included.
- Rating feedback (optional, only if submitted). If you choose to submit a rating or feedback message through the in-extension prompt, that message text is sent to our server. Submission is always opt-in and you can dismiss the prompt without sending anything.
What we send vs. what we never send
We send (to our own server only)
- Random device ID (license check and usage events)
- Extension version number (usage events)
- Event name, e.g. 'installed' (usage events)
- Product title, price, and category (Pro AI analysis, opt-in)
- Your entered cost for that product (Pro AI analysis, opt-in)
- Optional feedback message (only if you submit it)
We never send
- Products you browse but do not click AI analysis on
- Your browsing history or other tabs
- Your name, email, or any account data
- Your cost or shipping settings stored locally
- Any data to third-party analytics or ad networks
There are no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no third-party data recipients.
5. Watchlist stored locally
When you save a product to your watchlist (Pro feature), the following data is stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device only. It is not synced to any cloud or server:
- Product title and URL
- Score, margin estimate, and active flags at the time of saving
- The date saved
All watchlist data is cleared automatically when you uninstall the extension.
6. Data we do not collect or sell
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. There are no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no cross-site profiling. No account or sign-up is required to use the free scorecard.
7. Children's privacy
TikTok Shop Product Scout is a product-research tool intended for sellers, dropshippers, and affiliates. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the extension's changelog on the Chrome Web Store.
